Who is the most important person in your life?

When asked, a lot of people answer this question by stating their significant other, child, parents or friend.
But the real answer is YOU.
You are the most important person in your life. If there was no YOU, would there be a significant other? A child? A parent? You can quench the thirst of the people around you when your own pitcher is filled. When you are flying on an airplane, the air hostess instructs you that during times of danger or plane crash, you are first supposed to put your own oxygen mask before helping those around you.
You are first a human before being someone’s wife/husband, son/daughter and brother/sister, etc.
